This is the absolute cutest little nook of a grocery store! The prices are more than most regular stores but that is because they sell mostly organic or fresh farm raised goods! I ADORE this little spot! It feels as if you have taken a step back in time.
I first visited this grocery shortly before Snowpocalypse ‘21, and loved it! I live about 10 minutes away, and was pleasantly shocked and surprised to see so many things I had previously been driving to San Antonio or Austin to get! What really impressed me was their dedication to locally sourced items like produce....the selection was fresh & phenomenal!nnThe reason I mentioned Snowpocalypse ‘21 though, is because I was absolutely blown away by their philanthropy during the storm....from stocking what they could, to taking to social media to provide updates and fulfill orders (and arrange for delivery!)....their dedication to the local community was inspirational. I plan to shop there any time I can!
What a great spot! We live in Lockhart and are so glad to be close to a place that offers healthier options. The one negative reviewer probably didn't know that he would have to pay more than his dollar store snack prices he gets from corporate America.
Home grown veggies, wonderful selection of wholesome foods and staples. Great pricing as well. Will return.
Ended up stopping by with family to check it out again. Despite reservations from previous experiences.. Huge improvement. They seem to be bringing things together. Great hang out spot!
