A great place to bank if you want a place that won't take your money (but will charge you if you don't give it to them). At first they said a check needed to be endorsed, but then after it was endorsed they refused to take it. The check is drawn on a local bank. They could have picked up this newfangled device called a telephone and called to verify the account if they wished (the checkwriter is a stockholder in this other bank). They could have placed a hold on the check to make sure it cleared. But no, they just refused it.nnSo, if you want a bank that won't take and let you access your money, I highly recommend Compass. If you want a bank that knows how to process payments, I suggest you look into your local bank or credit union. It's apparently beyond Compass' comprehension.

Leah A is a rude banker and interrupted me at least 10 times when I tried to speak and ask questions about opening an account for a non for profit organization. Worst bank experience of my life.
