Great dog friendly place. We day tripped it to Salado with our sweet dog Carlee. The were so nice. They brought out treats for her and a water bowl. Everyone was so nice and friendly too. The food was great. We had a party of 4. We got the cheese curds, wow they were so good. I had the black bean burger with sweet potato fries, it was delicious. My sister had the pulled pork nachos. I tried one, they were so good too. My nieces got a cheese pizza and the BLT, also great.

Wing Wednesdays are awesome. The food is good. Staff is friendly and attentive. We have eaten here several times and enjoyed it. There is an outdoor area that is pet friendly too.

Very rarely do I post a review after visiting a restaurant, but after our experience Monday evening, I must give credit where is credit is due. Monday was a solemn day for our family and in the midst of planning a final good bye to one of our nearest and dearest, a place to gather afterwards had been overlooked. With less than an hours notice, the entire staff at The Shed agreed to accommodate our family of 30. Lisa helped me with food suggestions and serving sizes, I placed an order over the phone, and when we arrived everything was ready for us. There was absolutely no waiting! The staff was absolute amazing to work with and did everything possible to ensure that our every need was met. From the bottom of our hearts, a huge THANK YOU and to the staff, you have definitely gained a lifelong customer! We will be back!

We had one of the worst experiences here tonight. It's especially disappointing on a holiday. Our waitress was lazy and rude. She made disparaging remarks to us directly. Our food arrived at our table cold after 30 minutes sitting in the kitchen. We had to ask for plates and silverware. .. which the server later made a rude remark about to us when we were paying. We couldn't get a drink at 8:45 because they close at 9:00 PM. This is not a recommended place.nThe food stinks and the service is awful. Good luck in Salado, this town is built on relationships. I feel for the dudes working in this place... their running around trying to take care of people, but unfortunately their holding onto some staff that are obviously out of touch with the minimum standards of customer service. Strongly recommend getting rid of these staff because they contribute to negative reviews such as this one.
