When I was first introduced to this doctor around the 19th of November 2020 I was totally shocked when the doctor himself walk in with no mask on I also noticed that they were other employees there that were not wearing their masks and with further visits I had to ask the doctor to put on a mask and still some of his employees were not wearing a mask I also spoke to one of the patients that were there for his initial visit and he told me that he was taking his brother off of life support that day because he caught the corona I advised him that the doctor and some of his staff does not like to wear masks we both thought it was very disrespectful by the facility not to wear masks I went in for hernia surgery on November 23 2020 everything was going well as I was laying there I had made a comment out loud that I felt that I was on a conveyor belt to my surprise the other patient in the bed agreed with me the nurses for quite Pleasant everything was running smoothly wheeled into the operating room had my procedure woke up and that's the nightmare began for me I was quickly told that I needed to get up and go use the restroom two nurses helped me I passed out on the toilet they quickly took me back to my bad handed me a prescription for Percocet when I looked at the prescription I had realize that was for Percocet it makes me ill and will cause me to vomit I had forgotten about it earlier when they had asked me if I was allergic to any medication I had replied no so I quickly tried to resolve the mistake I had made I had told the nurse that handed me the prescription that it will make me vomit and I had forgotten about what Percocet will do to me she told me to take half of one I was quite confused due to coming out of anesthesia clearly she was not listening to me by this nurse they quickly proceeded to get me out of the facility I felt I had not had enough time to recover or come to some type of coherency As they were loading me into the car I and also my driver told a completely different nurse that the prescription that the other nurse had given me makes me vomit this different nurse told me to take it anyway at this point all I wanted to do is go home I ended up at CVS in Tellico Plains I figured that maybe the pharmacy would help me out Pharmacy said even though the pharmacist have the prescription in his hand that he could not fill it that I would have to drive all the way back to Athens to get prescription changed I asked my driver if you would take me back he told me no so I went without any pain medication after having hernia surgery having a 3 in surgical scar a part of my intestines taken out mesh sewn into my body the pain was so excruciating I had cold sweats coughing constant pain couldn't eat for 4 days couldn't have a bowel movement for 4 days and when I went back to my doctor's no empathy whatsoever the doctor lie to me and said he did not know what went wrong when I had talked to his nurse who had been calling me throughout my so-called recovery and I spoken to her what happened she promised me she would talk to the doctor I had asked her when I see her did you talk to the doctor she said yes that he was quite informed when I asked him he said he didn't know I got the empathy on the scale of one from him when I informed him of what went on he told me he was looking for it but then quickly got me out of the examining room when I went back for my final appointment the nurse I spoke to and the doctor or very cold and quickly rushed me out once again out of the examining room what would have happened if I had taken those pills that they had told me to take I could have violently been vomiting ripped open my scar along with having heart problems which they were very well aware of this recovery was a nightmare I do not recommend going to this facility it is more like a meat market they just want to get you in and out as fast as they can to make that money I feel the doctor and the staff should dig deep into their little hearts and find that empathy that they have lost for their patients AND WEAR YOUR MASKS
