Appalachian Veterinary Hospital

My mother took her dog “Bear” to see the doctors here today because he had been vomiting intermittently and not feeling well. As a veterinarian myself (in a different state so not able to care for my parent’s dogs directly), I recommended they have him checked out. From what my mother said, the doctors were kind, professional, listened to her concerns, and made reasonable and practical recommendations to work up his vomiting issue. The prices were also extremely fair and reasonable. From one veterinarian to another, I really appreciate the care given to my parents’ dog!

My dog wasn't a patient there until an accident he was involved in. They worked him in on the same day I called and got him taken care of within 3 hours of my call and bringing him home. Wonderful visit. Highly recommended!!

This place was amazing and the staff are awesome. Being on vacation with a sick pet is scary, but Appalachian Veterinary Hospital made my scary experience more manageable. My pup is back to her high spirited self and all better after returning home. Thank you Appalachian Veterinary Hospital for all your help.

Women that came out to let us inside to go into our own room was very rude. Yelled only 1 person. Why does it even matter if there is 2 people in the room with the animal. With masks on. They over charge and then going to have a attitude about who can go in the room with the animal. Its a private room and a family pet.nOther vets aren't doing this rule.nThere is 2 people that wants to talk to the vet about the animal that both have there own insights on the animal to help get her the best help she can have for her.nVery disappointed they are more worried about people in the building then what really needs to matter.nThen as I am sitting here with my child waiting for my mom to come back out in the burning heat. I watch 2 people walk into the vet office together for one animal. But we aren't allowed to come in together. Kinda of one sided. ud83eudd14nSeems like they just make up there rules as they go.nVery unpleased with everything about this office visit.nI had to fight bees the hole time I was sitting outside in the heat.

Very polite
