I love Jay's Jungle! It is a true gem from a better time! The big pet store chains have made these small mom and pop shops a bit of a relic, which is sad... Jays jungle is staffed with great employees and has a great selection of hard to find reptiles, birds, fish and inverts. Please support Jay's Jungle and keep the small pet stores alive!

Such a fun pet store to visit. You will find more unique pets here than any other pet store. We were able to see baby mice!

I love jays! I come every Saturday to pick up worms for my dragon. They’re $1.07 a dozen! No the usual way too much for way too many. The owner and workers are always polite and speedy!

I bought a parakeet for my wife about 2 weeks ago and had a great experience so I went back for a second parakeet,. I bought it, long story short the bird died within 20 minutes of buying it so we brought it back! When I came in I had a nice younger lady greet me and went to go get the manager, an older white haired male. He was beyond rude, he turned an already bad experience into a worse one!!! He not only scolded me for cutting the birds wings, like we had with the first parakeet, but he wouldn't answer my questions on it and just threw the money at me and walked away. Then when I asked if I was able to get another one he just said he doesn't know and needs to do an investigation on the birds death!! Then I asked for him to explain a little more and he just became more rude and I dont know and shorts answers.. he explained nothing about the process of coming back in this situation.. The worker said it was a nice, clean cut for it's wings, it didn't look wrong at all.. then when I asked if he could have my number he just walked away and scoffed for a few minutes then wrote down my number!! He was very impatient, u professional and rude. This was the most unpleasant experience of my life on a already unpleasant day.. he just made my experience way worse!!! If he can't be professional then he shouldn't be working anymore or just stay in the back..

Bought two pet rats. They seemed healthy at first but it became clear within a few days that they had obvious health issues. One died within a week and a half and the other is sick and not responding to antibiotics. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The animals live in dirty, cramped conditions and you can’t trust that them to be healthy. Unless you want to deal with dead and sick animals like me, I’d go somewhere else.
