Coming from someone who keeps several aquariums and breeds axolotls, Animal Ark is a pretty decent pet store that I frequent fairly often. The staff are friendly and seem pretty knowledgeable when it comes most of their animals, and they've been willing to listen to advice concerning certain animal care. Everything is pretty fairly priced, save for axolotls and puppies and kittens, which range from slightly overpriced to ridiculously overpriced. In my opinion it's best to adopt puppies and kittens from shelters or to find private breeders.
The staff here are so awesome and helpful. They were very patient with me and gave me excellent recommendations for the right products. I will continue to come here for all my pet needs.
Best pet store in the area. Competent, helpful staff. Large selection of animals with pretty good turnaround, specifically with reptiles and amphibians. The staff appears to have a significantly better understanding of small animal pet care than a place like PetCo or PetSmart, in my experience. Prices are fair for the most part. Overall just a great local pet shop that I love supporting!
This is one of my favorites. Animal ark has been around for years. Their friendly knowledgeable staff will help you with all your pet needs. I personally needed their help with my ferret and tropical fish.

They had Halloween Moon Crabs! No one ever has those! I've been to a few pet stores like this, and the atmosphere was relatively nice. Would reccomend for exotic pets.
