Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I gave this one 5 stars a while back. I'm taking them away! It was a 5 star place around 4 years ago. We were there several months ago. The potatoes tasted like they were made with water, I love country fried steak, it was way over done, almost too hard to cut. My husbands food was cold. So we stopped going. Today we decided to give it another try. Never again. The coffee was lukewarm. The blueberry pancakes were so tough, it was hard to stick my fork in them. The biscuits were doughy in the middle. The staff there are all great but there's something going on in the kitchen. Are cooks not being trained correctly or do they just not care? We will still go to Cracker Barrels elsewhere, just not this one. It's sad!!

Grits portion was ridiculously small, all else was great

I had fried chicken is sort of dried out not hot at all priced about $10 and no Texas Pete or Frank's Louisiana hot sauce coleslaw had very little mayonnaise in it it's very little plate of french fries butter butter milk biscuits taste very good with real butter Nice waitress and a surroundings very nice

The store was well stocked and the presentation within the store was inviting.nnThe food at any Cracker Barrel are always consistent and done very well. Management was very good.nnThe Waitress I had was incredible. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and very well trained.nnVery enjoyable visit.nnHighly recommended ud83dudc4c.

Good meal with all the Thanksgiving trimmings. Not a fan of sweet potatoes casserole or pumpkin pie. There was ample to eat. Ham a little dry. Server Hailey? Was excellent, very attentive without being intrusive.
