We had the 8oz. sirloin, ordered medium well, but came out very well done. They were chewy & very little flavor. The Mac & cheese was dry, not cheesy at all. The bread was also dried out like day old bread. We waited so long for the meal we got, we didn’t want to wait for steaks to be recooked. Our waitress nor anyone else bothered to ask if our meal was good or correct. This was the first time there & I probably won’t go back.nnIn response to owners response; I did not write a review with intentions on getting anyone in trouble. I was wanting to draw awareness to issues that need improvement. Your restaurant was highly recommended and I was disappointed in my experience. Although the waitress did not check on the quality of our meal, the kitchen seems to be unaware of how to properly determine the degrees of steaks. That was the true failure of my meal. Yes, I am from the local area, but at this time time I can't say if or when I would return to your establishment.

Wonderful people there. The owners are very friendly and come around make sure everything is good. The waitresses are very friendly and do a great job. Been there 3 times and have not been disappointed. Highly recommended.

We went on a Thursday night for their prime rib special. The prime rib was fork tender and side were very good. I recommend buying the regular cut. I bought the larger cut and it cost quite a bit more and was only about 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch thicker. The prime rib was cooked perfectly.

An absolutely fantastic hidden treasure. Staff were friendly, the owners were on site and conversing with patrons. Servers were quick to keep drinks full and meet all our needs. The food was out of this world delicious! I highly recommend the Woodshed sandwich....but beware...come hungry. We also had the pulled pork sandwich. The food and atmosphere were definitely worth the drive. We will definitely be back.

My friends and I were visiting the area from NY and we found this place on our way to go rafting. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting!! The restaurant is very clean and well maintained, the staff is super friendly, and the food was delicious. If you’re looking for a taste of Southern eating, this is the place to do it!
