Well, of course this is five stars (edit below) , I mean, it's J Peters after all so it's not too surprising. Had the Prime Rib. Soooo much better than the prime rib I had earlier in the week at another place (sounds like Charlie's). Everyone at our table loved their dishes. Even the salad was great, and I hardly expect a decent salad from anywhere anymore. The atmosphere is classic and elegant. Great menu. As a restaurant they are doing everything right.nnEdit: after eating here about 6 more times, the food has been consistently... mediocre.

The food quality is high and the service was outstanding. The Shrimp and Collard Greens were excellent but the Steak I ordered medium was closer to well done. I didn't give them an honest try to correct it by asking for the replacement to be cooked Medium Rare. It wasn't cooked enough for me. I'll take the blame for that. I will come back someday and I believe I will have a great experience.

Food was amazing!! Prime Rib was spot on!! Everything was fresh and there was hardly a wait.nService was mediocre. I think our girl was new. She was soft spoken and didn't stay at the table long enough for us to ask for items or to ask questions.nIt's our favorite place. Just miss the customer service. This is why I only gave 4 stars. I am a firm believer in how you are treated makes folks wanna come back. Thank goodness the food was so good.

Great menu and bar. Service was prompt and friendly. Our party of 7 aged from 10 to 71 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Come before 6pm for great happy hour and meal deals.

Let me start by saying that Jordan, our Attendant, was Awesome! Very Courteous and provided great Customer Sevice!nThe Potatoe Soup was Salty; couldn't eat it. And, I was quite disappointed that Turkey is no longer served on the J Peters House salad. I did order the salad anyway and it was good. But, I am sure that all of that ham wasn't. Five Stars because of Jordan!
