In 2012 I was a patient. When I found out I was pregnant I was referred by my general doc to this facility. I was seen within a week at 2 months pregnant. Ap, when my daughter started having pain in her side she was also referred there for an appt. and ultrasound. That was in March. They told her they could not get her in until October even though she was in pain.nTwo weeks ago we got her into Tidelands Women in Georgetown. My daughter is 25 and will never have children now! We were sent to Hollings Cancer Center Monday and she will be having a full hysterectomy on the 8th and they are worried about her spleen and liver.nIf she waited on Carolina Women Center she would have died! When a person is referred with pain maybe you should refer them elsewhere for now on. Cause at this rate you wont need the OB part of the GYN. Shame on you!

The front staff were so rude. I came alone, because I didn’t want anyone there. The front desk lady asked me what insurance I had and I said medicaid, she said I wasn’t in the eligible for that and that I could pay off of pocket. I didn’t have the money to pay out-of-pocket, so I left saying I would figure out what had happened to it and reschedule. My sister called after I asked about my insurance. She called up there and they asked about it and started to hint at me being stupid about I don’t know my own insurance name. Having explained to the staff that my insurance had got out. The other lady who was not even on the phone call but in the background asked if I was pregnant!!! That’s ridiculous and private. I came alone meaning I didn’t want them to know why I came in. And for them to ask someone whose wasn’t even up there with me and they had no idea she even knew me is wrong. Complete privacy violation. Complete HIPPA violation.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have never been treated so poorly by medical staff in my entire life. The front desk lady was rude and short with talking to me. I got in for my appointment at 3:15 (my appointment was at 3:30) and realized I forgot my wallet at home and asked if I could run home to my house to get it (my house is only ten minutes away) and they didn’t give me an answer until 3:50 saying I was late so they could get me a new appointment in two months..... the desk staff literally talked so badly about me as if I wasn’t standing right there. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service. I have no idea how they still have their jobs and I am very thankful this will be my last time going to them. I hope not everyone gets treated the way I did today.
