Have tried a few items here including their burgers, pizzas, salads and sandwiches and every item was wonderful. They are known for their beer but I can't comment on that since I don't care for beer no matter how good it is. The main reason I took a star off was because of the long time it takes to get your meal. Overall worth the wait.
Southern Hops is a really nice restaurant with live music on the weekends. I have driven by this place so many times & thought it was just a bar. It's way more than that. It has a very comfortable feel to it & they serve food. Real food. Not just chips & nuts. ud83dude04 The employees are so nice. They have comfortable sofas & chairs close to the corner where the band plays on the weekends & tables where families can sit & enjoy themselves in a relaxed atmosphere. The bar is really cool too & it's located further back & away from the tables. There is a nice eating/ sitting area outside & it has the feel of being in the country the way the building is set back off the main road. I'm really impressed with how sweet their staff is or I wouldn't even write this.
Best pub in Florence
Over the past three day weekend, I happen to stumble into Southern Hops while waiting on the other 14 golfers in our party. Needless to say I did not eat that day and wish that I had, but I did visit this awesome establishment the following two days. This may be the greatest decision that I made in a long time. I had the Lowcountry Shrimp Burrito followed up with the Pretzel Pub Chicken Sandwich the following day. Porter the waitress/bartender made the atmosphere even more accommodating with her radiant smile that you can see through her eyes even while she is wearing a mask. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Florence. Hopefully, I will not have to wait until next years golf trip!
For a Friday night a short wait, great service, amazing food, with awesome music to listen to, it was all around a great experience. Definately going to return in the near future.
