Great Plains Regional Medical Center: Emergency Room

Arriving around 4:15 got placed in a room in the ER. Sat there for four hours with no pain meds no one checking in on us. Not offering water checking on pain, nothing! It wasn't until the person I was with went into the Hall way and started making a fuss. Nurse Jessica could not answer any of our questions as to why we couldn't get anything to take the edge off. Another nurse came in and said we where verbally abusing her, when in reality we where asking questions; if anyone was getting abused it was the patient that was getting abused. Put in a room to be forgotten about. After being there for five hours House nurse Larry helped out with getting things rolling. Very upset when the Dr said he wasn't going to do anything about it. So we sat in a room all evening blood dripping everywhere in pain for this deep wound to get washed and on our way. Staff was extremely rude and have no bedside Manors. From not being from this area if I knew this would be the quality of care we received we would of just gone somewhere else. Good thing death wasn't near because I feel like they would of just let him die! HR will also be hearing about this on Monday, I also filled out a room survey.
