I just had Day Surgery on Wednesday the nurses and staff and everything was awesome made me feel comfortable from time I was there til the time I left. They definitely deserve more stars than what people are giving them. Maybe they were bad in the past, but it's not past no more are maybe its just the people themselves.

This place honestly deserves better reviews. Kind and understanding staff that not only ask for your decisions in your health care plan but work for something that works for you. Go here

Arrived with my dad on February February 3rd at 4:30. All hospital beds were occupied and only 2 nurses in the emergency department. On February 4th at 7:57 we are still here and still dont know when or if he will be discharged. The lack of staffing is a shame. And the people in charge should be ashamed of themselves working so few staff so hard and not giving them more support. Will definitely not be choosing this hospital again until something is done.

So months back my husband was referred by our doctor over at Physician's East for an MRI here at Lenoir. Now keep in mind...no one in thier right mind knows or expects an MRI bill to be $600! Our medical insurance pays 25% of MRI costs. 25% is not a lot when the bill was a bit over $3,000. I was even told by a BCBS rep that a lot of providers charge REDICULOUS amounts for certain procedures. Anyway...bill came back tp us a few weeks ago. Is $585. Now when you go in to get an emergency MRI due to past migraines...you are not expecting to be ambushed with a $585 bill. There are places that charge less than that. Well on top of that...I called and told me if we could not pay it that it would be sent to collections. Lol. WOW. So then I called and left a message a few days later telling them I'd pay something. I sent them a $5 money order. They called me today after recieving the money order when I left them a message weeks prior. The woman rudely told me that they would not send me reciepts. Instead statements. Statements only tell you what you owe! Not what you payed! Then she proceeds to tell me that I can pay only a $50 minumum. Hahaha! So they never even asked our situation. I am a stay at home because we can't afford childcare. My husband's hours could have been cut. They think only about the basics. I'm sorry...we have to pay for gas, car payments(which are a necessity these days, cell phone bill, wifi, food, hygiene products, pet stuff, credit card, gas for heat bill and more. They penalize you for being poor. Apparently it's a crime in this state. Or this country. We have a 5 year old we have to take care of! We have other things that are priority. There is no law that states they require a $50 minumum! You are gonna tell ppl that already pay $400 a month in medical insurance....that you expect them to pay $50 a month to you! And you already got 75% from our medical insurance! WOW! She then told us that if we did not pay the $50 a month that they would send it to collections. SO FYI EVERYONE.....TRY TO AVOID BIG HOSPITALS FOR MRI CARE! THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!
