I am so great full for all the emergency room staff. My charge nurse was amazing as well as her staff. The Dr did everything he could and made me comfortable as well as better. I was made to fell like family and I'll never forget it. Thank u all. God bless and Mary Christmas!!

I want to thank everyone who cared for me during my stay for covid-19 and pneumonia. There were times while I was there when I thought I would never see my wife and family again. But your caring nurses and doctors pulled me through. I owe you all my life. Thanks so much to everyone.

I gave birth via c section in November 2018 and I had the most amazing experience possible. My midwives were all so very supportive and I was treated like a queen. I had an emergency c section and they made me feel so so so comfortable. My healing process was so amazing I truly am very thankful I chose Catawba valley medical center instead of Frye. They kept me nice and medicated for pain, they supplied me with anything and everything I needed. Most importantly my c section healed so beautifully. Also they did my sons circumcision at 5 days old and it was beautifully done. He healed in about 5 days with little to no pain. If I have another child I would travel across state lines just to be able to deliver at catawba.

We could not have asked for better care in the ER of Catawba Valley Medical Center. They treated and handled a scary medical emergency with kindness, compassion and professionalism. Dr. James and all the ER nurses are truly a blessing when the unexpected happens.

Do not have a baby here. Especially with Dr Stephanie Chase. This doctor is a danger to her patients. She has been the subject of several medical board investigations. She is an incompetent surgeon and has the bedside manner of a hippopotamus that just ate an entire bottle of hot sauce covered roaches. She does not allow skin to skin, she does not allow placenta encapsulation, she does not do delayed cord clamping. Delivering with this doctor means having to fight tooth and nail for basic human rights.
