First Citizens Bank

My wife and I applied for a HELOC and since we have our checking account there, they decided to use our direct deposits to calculate our income. I told them numerous times that much of my paycheck is deposited into other accounts and they never even asked for a copy of our pay checks before declining our application. We are moving forward with a loan with another bank, who seems to have no problem approving us, as much as we would like to continue to support our local branch.

I have been with this bank for years. They are very nice and great customer service. If I have had any questions they have always helped me! Love these girls...they are very professional. Thank you for all you do.

Very poor service and felt extremely judged while trying to cash a first citizens check without an account. Made me wait over an hour in the waiting room and left the responsibility of verifying my check on me. I had to call 4 people to get the number they had on file to make a call that they should have made for me. Still charged me a ridiculous amount to cash my check after I did all the work for them, a check from their own system. I'll never forget the poor service I experienced at this location. Never going back to first citizens, the experience led me to open an account at a bank 1 mile up the road.

I deposited a check her Friday was told by the woman (which I check this Everytime just to be absolutely positive my funds are available right after) the teller assured me it was. Went on to spend money and found out because the check was pending it let the sales gonthrough but not the check so I was in the negative. Also was charged a service fee for statements that I don't even recieve!!!!!! When I first signed up for online banking the woman had my telephone number, email address, all wrong so I wasn't even able to log on because I couldn't recieve my a verification code! Beyond pissed and fustrated with first citizens and this bank branch. Will be switching banks Monday morning
