We had to take my 89 year old grandmother to the ER for stroke symptoms. We waited 11 hours for a room while sitting in the ER! After 3 days, they had still not completed any of her testing for a stroke! We never heard from a doctor, nobody knew what was going on, poor communication, under-staffed, very delayed meal services, had to go to nurses station 4 different times to ask for help because nobody would come to her room, etc.nWe finally decided to sign her out and follow up with testing elsewhere after the 3rd day of just waiting. When the employees acknowledge how terrible the management, morale and care is there, you know you've got a real problem! It is scary that our hospital is in such disarray.

I must admit I was hesitant about being admitted to Mission Hospital based on reviews I had read. I had no choice of hospitals as this is where the Dr. is licensed. The facility itself is privatized which means money means more than the patient or it's employees. Even though, it's a private facility, everyone that I came in contact with from entering the door to discharge was nothing but nice and caring. This meat a lot especially when I could not have anyone with me. I can only hope that side comes through when it comes time for payment. I am doubtful but wishful. The payment side is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. I hope Mission proofs me wrong on the payment end.

Fantastic experience for the birth of our twins during the pandemic. What a scary time to need to be in the hospital. Everyone that took care of us was so wonderful. First hospital experience and it was so great. Special thanks to the labor and delivery team and the NICU.

Always have bad experiences here with family member as well as myself. Was rushed by ambulance for extreme abdominal pain. Ended up needing an appendectomy. Woke up after surgery clueless as to what happened. A doctor came in about 3 hours after I first woke up (I was pretty delirious from the anesthesia). Told me briefly that my appendix is now gone and surgery went well & once I ate without throwing up and walked to bathroom on my own I could be discharged. Discharged assistant came into my room within 30 minutes to take me to another room to wait on my ride. I never ate. I never walked on my own. I left the hospital feeling drugged and unstable without any clue of what all happened in my body, how I should care for my myself, and what all recovery entitled. Also, half of my incision was glued over my other skin so half my scar bulges over my skin. I did have a packet with discharge instructions but I feel like someone should have talked to me in debts about things. They did the bare minimum here and rushed me out as quick as possible.
