My husband and I dined at Chestnut last night to celebrate our anniversary. Our server Rachael was so great and really navigated our experience so we could get the most out of our time there. We had the lobster bisque ( best I've had in a LONG time), shared a few of the small plates which were incredible, and then shared the duck as a main course. My husband and I both enjoyed drinks paired by our server and she was perfectly attentive to us. Phil the manager stopped by and made sure we were enjoying everything and he was also really nice to talk with. The vibe is great, the food is out of this world and the service was top notch. Don't hesitate to visit Chestnut for your next meal.
So I waited as servers past by never mentioning they were closed... never attempting this again...
First visited Chestnut about 6 years ago for our anniversary dinner. Came back recently with friends and it was just as great as I remember. Brad was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. The shrimp and grits were delicious and the Kobe burger is drool worthy. Definitely recommend this place.
Excellent food! General Manager came to our table and explained because of the pandemic and the reduced capacity seating, the restaurant would appreciate it if we took no longer than 2 hours for dinner. We totally understood his request and were more than willing to abide by this time limit. We were, however, quite disappointed that it took 1 hour before our main course arrived!
We arrived 10 minutes after closing hours to a friendly smile and greeting by host Jane and Manager Phillip. We were seated and received great service by Jessica and enjoyed a fantastic meal with drinks. We never felt rushed, only pampered, even though we arrived after closing time! Amazing all around experience! Thank you Team Chestnut!
