I actually had a great experience meeting Mr. Hawkins, he serviced my Walther PPK. Did a great job and went above and beyond to find the problem. Really nice guy and really knowledgeable when it comes to firearms. If you don't want to go to a big store and then be ignored, go see him. He will get the job done right and a lot cheaper.
Don't waste your money.
Poorly kept, disheveled and slovenly - this describes both the smith and his shop. Was visiting from out of town and didn't have my tools, in a hurry and needed a quick job done. Took him 20 minutes to do a 10 minute job, and he still charged $40.
If you need 'smithing work done and you're in Utah Valley, avoid this guy and Phil Johnson.
