I. Loved. This. Visit. It's a shame that I couldn't sit inside during the Covids, because it has a great looking indoor area. And the outdoor seating is kind of a dump ... with a ton of construction going on nearby.nnBut the beer was excellent. And the people (staff and patrons) were a lot of fun to hang out with. Super excited about coming back to visit again.
We visited the area last weekend as it was our first time in the area. While the Brewery was very spacious and filled with great brews; the Bartender was a bit less enthusiastic.nnNonetheless; we ordered pizza from the back which was phenomenal. We rented the taproom for a welcoming party the night before our son's wedding. The beer was great, and the staff did an excellent job preparing the space and serving the beer.nnWe highly recommend French Broad for your special event.
The prices here are reasonable, and the pizza shop next door is awesome! Dog friendly establishment that would serve as a great hangout. They got nice chairs as well
**UPDATED REVIEW AS OF 2020**nnBeer: I do love the beers that this brewery produces. 13 Rebels ESB is my favorite.nnBeertenders: The beertenders are super friendly and happy to offer suggestions.nnBuilding/Location: They updated the tap room more recently and it is absolutely gorgeous! They have outdoor seating (great during warmer months!) as well. The bathrooms are not gender specific and were nice and clean when I visited!nnFood: they often have food trucks!
