I love this little store, tucked away in a plaza, like a hidden gem. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and generally have what I need when I go in there. Considering how things are nowadays, their prices are pretty reasonable and they have a pretty good assortment of play things in the counter. I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer and support our local businesses.

The Class was simply awesome. The instructors were very thorough in every aspect of the class. My husband and I took class today 12/13/2020 and we both were pleased and felt we came out with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the safety of handling firearm and knowledge of the law concerning carrying of a handgun. I would definitely recommend Port City Outdoors for your concealed carry class.

I am so happy that we found this place. My husband and I wanted to get into a concealed handgun course. Right away, we were referred to one of the owners, Melissa, who was eager to help us. She told us that they schedule them regularly and they were going to have a new class that night. Of course, we joined right away. We were taught by Melissa and Connie (an employee). We took our course within a span of three days. We learned so much and were impressed at their knowledge. I wanted to trade a CZ 9mm and the owners worked out a deal with us. As a result, we purchased 2 Glocks from them. If you want an honest deal and hand gun knowledge, this is the place to go. You won't be sorry!nnLinda L A

I can't recommend PCO enough. The owners, Joe and Melissa, are very knowledgeable, helpful, and (most importantly) patient. I'm new to the idea of using a weapon for self defense but Joe took the time to work with me one-on-one and today I passed the concealed carry course. (And it's by far the best price in the area... only $75!)nnI understand the state laws, how to handle a firearm safely, and situations when it's appropriate to use one. I plan on taking individual lessons with Joe/Melissa moving forward and I'm confident they will prepare me to protect myself - God forbid I ever have to.nnThey're genuinely there to pass along their expertise and law enforcement experience to the public, not to make a quick buck like other places in town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
