Great food, great drinks, and an awesome atmosphere. We went on a Friday night and they had a live band playing outside on the patio area. We sat inside at the bar which is a quieter and a bit lore intimate feeling. However the vibe was still awesome. I had the shrimp and grits and it was quite good! The bar tenders were extremely knowledgeable about each dish and in giving recommendations for the area in general. The only downside to this place is that they share a parking lot with another place that is a music hall and if there is a concert or a big show going on it makes it hard to find parking. Aside from that if we’re ever back in the Hattiesburg area this pace will be on the itinerary.

I’ve only been to Patio 44 a handful of times but it’s hands-down my favorite restaurant in Hattiesburg. Whether inside or outside, the atmosphere is great. I usually get the blackened catfish which is phenomenal but I’ve tasted other dishes and they’re always so delicious. The service is great. One time, our food was taking a while but we didn’t mind. Regardless, our waiter gave us a free dessert which was very considerate.

Not here to really bash but I will say I did have a few grievances with this place, was invited out to celebrate a friends birthday and we sat down inside which I thought would have been bigger but it was a bit cramped inside. This could have been because it’s not expected to be inside but due to the pandemic they may have pushed more of an inside type restaurant, but moving in from there I believe the server was working their first shift alone, won’t say a name, but they were pretty prompt and seems as though they had a good understanding of customer service but when it came down to the actual meals and pricing I have to say it’s more so less than expected. I ordered shrimp and grits and for the price you pay they give you a sample size and my thing is if it’s quality over quantity then I expect the flavor to do most of the impressing, but that wasn’t the case at all. There was a bit of flavor in the grits but the smoothness wasn’t there and it did taste a little undercooked as well, I give the restaurant a 3 only because the vibe is actually nice if you sit outside and enjoy the breeze but I don’t think I’d give them a second time around, this will be a one and done for me

We called ahead to make a reservation and were told that reservations were not being accepted and we would be seated by availability. Upon arrival and waiting for over an hour, staff would not seat us because we had a party of 13 including children even though we let them know that we were fine with being split up.

Brunch was really delicious. Those gouda grits are fantastic, and I really enjoyed my pecan waffle. The staff was very friendly too! However, my friend's strawberry waffle was covered in jam, not strawberries, so it became soggy quickly.
