Came to Applebee’s tonight and was told it would be a thirty five minute wait. Granted it was late, but they were by no means busy. What was the reason? They only had 1 waiter.nnLaurel needs a good restaurant. The pickings here are so slim!

I understand there is a coronavirus pandemic but there is no excuse for the experience we had here! We first ordered sweet tea. It was definitely the farthest thing from sweet so we had to ask for sweetener. Then when we got our food they said all of their silverware was dirty so they gave us plastic silverware. My husband ordered steak and had to attempt to cut it with a plastic knife! I asked for ketchup but they said they were all out! Who runs out of ketchup?!? The waitress we had tried her best but had to keep apologizing for everything. We hadn’t ate at this Applebee’s in years because of a similar experience so we thought we’d give it another try. Just like the time before, the food was mediocre and the service was poor. We will not be returning to Applebee’s in Laurel again!

Food is always good! Manager does good job! Most of the waitresses do good job! Brittany, short skinny black girl was terribly rude! Said we are not taking orders at 6:40. We ask to see the Mgr and the Mgr was nice and said the bar waitress can take your take out order! Daughters boyfriend tried to hand the the menu to the waitress Brittany and she have an attitude and let the menu fall to floor and had terrible attitude! So the Mgr took care of our order after that! It’s terrible that they have good cooks, Mgr and other staff but this waitress Brittany have a terrible attitude and this affects business! One bad waitress can affect the whole restaurant!. Only post this because of the rudeness of one person! We pray Brittany gets her demons under control for Applebee’s sake! Thanks for other employees, Mgr and other sweet people for saving the day!

(i’m sharing for someone else) this place is absolutely disgusting. the kitchen looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years! the staff is rude. the food that is served is not “cooked” it all gets heated up (except for the steak). there are roaches everywhere in the kitchen crawling on the plates and if they drop something they just throw it on the plates and it goes out! if a bug gets on the food they still serve it! if i could give the place 0 stars i would. the floors are supposed to be mopped with every shift they never get mopped! almost everyone that works there is a felon and sleeping together. they really need to shut this place down! DO NOT EVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!!!
