Petco

Would not recommend this Petco. Staff is nice yet we’ve been trying to get our dogs nails cut for about a month, they say they will call back and give us 5% off and they never call back after several attempts to make a simple appointment. Nobody is never there/the phone always goes to voicemail throughout the day. Would not recommend. We are going to another pet place for the future .

My Friday appointment was cancelled at the last minute and moved to Saturday. Then, when I arrived, Tyler acted like it was a huge hassle for me to be there. He was unfriendly and not helpful. I did not feel safe leaving my dog with him after the way he acted towards me. He acted like I was an idiot for not knowing the length of hair I wanted for my dog. His cut was fine, but not great. It looks like he barely touched his head. I'm overall not pleased and I don't plan to come back.

I have shopped at more than one Petco, and what I like is the helpfulness and friendliness of the employees. Whether it is a question about food or grooming, they have always been happy to help. Additionally, I appreciated that I still received my discount for Cyber Monday eventhough one of my items was out of stock, which put my total below the minimum for the discount. That was very good of Petco to honor that.

Great! They have awesome hemp joint pain medicine that works wonder on our 15 yr old dog. Went from barely walking to almost jogging, huge improvement.

I placed a curbside pick up order for 5 packages of Freshpet Vital Puppy dog food that was refrigerated and I picked them up. When I got home I saw that ALL FIVE of them had expired IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY and I was appalled. I needed that dog food ASAP for my puppy and didn't have the time to make another errand or drive back. I called the store and the person who answered couldn't have cared less, didn't apologize, and said that those were the last ones they had and that I would have to drive AGAIN to the store for a refund. I told them I wanted to take pics of the food and throw it out instead of lugging 5 heavy packages back and I was told with no remorse and very coldly that I would have to bring them back, even though they can't resell EXPIRED dog food. That wasted my gas 2x, my time 3x (picking up, calling, driving back) and I will never go to Petco again. How can you sell dog food that expired in JANUARY?!?! Also, the manager of the store should have offered to come by my house to pick up the EXPIRED dog food they gave me and issue me a refund over the phone so I didn't have to waste any more time. Very displeased and will be telling people I know that if they do shop at Petco they need to check the expirations.
