Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital St. Louis

Very disappointed. First not clean. One PT good. The rest OK. But frequently during workouts they left him to help someone else. They were supposed to give him 3 hours per day. They only gave him 2 hours per day. One day none. OT was poor. They had monitors on him to watch him but didn’t come to see him after they went off for quite some time. We scheduled him at St Luke for outpatient. They scheduled him a week out for outpatient rehab and gave him no home exercises. Fortunately we have a Pt friend and she helped him and gave him exercises. But St Luke’s much better. Don’t understand Mercy’s rating.

Recently my mother-in-law was admitted to Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital St Louis. We were very concerned about her condition and picked Mercy based on their reputation. She made remarkable progress during her stay. My wife flow to St Louis to be with her for most of her stay. The nurses were compassionate and caring and the therapists were miracle workers. I would recommend this rehab hospital to everyone in need of rehabilitative care. My mother-in-law was able to go home which was a huge concern for the entire family. Thank you for all you do.

My husband had been a patient before and had to return unfortunately recently. I hated to have to go back through more hospital stays and rehab but I would not have gone anywhere else. The Doctors are the best. The nurses made both my husband and I feel so comfortable and secure. I really needed some emotional support and the staff was there for me and I was not even the patient. The Therapists are top notch, world class in my opinion. They worked miracles with my husband. I appreciate their patience with him (and me). The hospital is great, it is clean, warm, comfortable and the food is outstanding. I was surprised it does not feel like a hospital. We loved having the Pet Therapy dogs come visit, it was a highlight, so awesome. We are home now and doing well and I wanted to say thanks to each and every staff member in the hospital who made our staff so wonderful. Thanks

My husband recently was a patient in Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital. He had a stoke at home and was taken to Mercy Hospital. From there he was taken to rehab. Thank God. I feared the worst but with the great care at Mercy Rehab hospital, he made so much progress. I know he still has a hill to climb but because of the outstanding work of the therapists and physicians, he got a lot of use of his right arm back and his speech improved greatly. I did not know where the hospital was until we went there. It is like a hidden gem on highway 40. I would recommend it to everyone who had a stroke.
