Heartland Bank

UPDATE: Through the herculean efforts of my loan officer, Norma Weitzel, Heartland finally pulled it together and closed my loan last week. My review for the bank stands at 0-Poor-Fair, but my review for Norma is a solid 3-Excellent. Thank you, Norma! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Sadly, I have to second the first review. I have an existing loan with them that I was trying to refi to get a little better rate (less than 1% better). It was an incredibly arduous experience that took documentation to extremes. We had a hiccup at 30 days in (which is a long time in refi terms), I was told it was resolved so I stuck with them, and now over 60 days into the process the hiccup is back. I feel like I've taken a beating. It's a shame. My loan rep was terrific both times, but something has changed in their underwriting process. I could not be more disappointed.
