I'll start by stating that I've only been to this location once and the U-City location once as well. So, my knowledge of the company as a whole isn't as extensive as other places I've visited. That said, here is what I've observed so far. Both of my visits required a pretty good wait and to get a table. They don't do reservations so much as you can jump the line when you arrive if you get on the wait list. It's kind of annoying, but I get it due to the current popularity. Once seated, you'll be in a fairly crowded place. Both of my visits were packed to the brim. Good news if you like a lively atmosphere, bad if you don't. The wait staff were all very friendly and pretty quick considering the number of guests. And now for the reason you should actually be going here, every single thing I've tasted has been great. Their sauces are great, their appetizers are great, the main and side dishes are great. This is the opinion shared by both parties that I came with as well.

We had a great day out at Salt +Smoke today. They have a huge patio, and today was gorgeous outside. The staff we met were extremely friendly. Taylor, our server, was nice. While they did make 1 small mistake by sending out the wrong selection of meats with my combo plate, it worked out, since what I actually received was really tasty. I do think their menu is very limited...but, they list what they do and they do that really well. The food came out fast and fresh. The selection of drinks were good as well. The pop over is a very nice addition which was a surprise, as we had no clue what it was until it came out lol.n4 starts due to the 1 mistake and a limited menu.

I have eaten at this location 2 other times before tonight. We were seated and it took 13min before a server even came to our table. We were the only ones in the place at that time also. The hostess kept looking at us and never once let our server know we were there. Once we ordered our food it only took 3min and our food was at our table. Fast service from the kitchen......however our food was cold. I have never experienced this before from Salt and Smoke. Then our server came back and refilled our drinks and she gave me a refill on something I did not order....I would give thisnvisit a 3 out of 10. I think I will go back to the Hampton location.

The food is amazing. The atmosphere is fun and family friendly. They have wonderful outdoor seating. Their staff is so sweet and really really care about their customers. We've been several times and have had great experiences each time. Try the deviled eggs, they are a meal just by themselves!!!

Holy smokes! The food is absolutely delicious. The brisket was perfectly cooked and tender.nnOur server was excellent. She was kind, made sure we had what we needed and unobtrusively checked on us regularly.nnSalt and Smoke is a must try if you are on Main Street.
