Rec Hall STL

Rec Hall is a really fun place and is great for group activities. We went on a Saturday night just a week or so after they opened, and it was packed. There were games we wanted to play but just couldn't due to the amount of people. We've discussed going again during the day on a Sunday or something when it would be less busy and could truly take in everything.nnThe only thing I took a point off for was drink prices and the lack of food in the building itself. I love the food truck idea, but if no food trucks are available for a weekend, there should be an option for a simple menu just because of people drinking all night. I know you can bring food in, but I'm not sure if that includes ordering pizza or other food for delivery or not. Beer was pretty high as well, and with it being right by the college, it would hit right in students' pocket books.nnPrices and food aside, this is a great addition to the community, and it's a place I'm excited to go to again once it's been broken in a little more and isn't so packed.

Really fun place. Great price for the entrance. Lots of drink options, just wish they had enough stuff in stock. But understandably that it was a Sunday, so I would assume that it was really busy Friday and Saturday.nnThey allow you to bring your own food to eat, some days they offer food trucks that come by.nnOverall, fun place to spend with friends.

While the premise itself is nice, there is a lack of organization that makes it hard to enjoy. Games are played in a first come first serve basis, and there is no system to reserve the next spot in line. There are also no time limits for gameplay so one group can play air bowling for two hours while other groups are waiting to play. Since it is a first come first serve, if you were in line and the person in front of you got the equipment for the next game, there is no guarantee you will get the next one. You'd have to get back in line and hope someone turns in equipment for you to use at one of the games by the time you reach the counter again. If you're willing to sit around and wait to play games while enjoying some good drinks, then this is your kind of place.

Rec Hall has a great layout with many different games. Really enjoyed playing Air Bowling and beer prices aren't bad. Hoping they can get Bud Select soon! Also likee the amount of Corn hole sets they had. Great place for a night out with friends. Would be cool if they had some sort of college night!

This was a pretty neat place. I have not played games like that in a while. Had so much fun with my friends. Im sure we will be back many more times.
