We have been in Metals and Refining business for more then 50 years. Until they closed we used their Omaha, location with fair results. We tried using this Kansas City Office, three times in the past 60 days. We sort all scrap gold items by Carat, testing any item that may be questionable. This firm states that it is Paying 98.5% of content for Scrap Gold & 93% for Scrap Silver. The problem is they show Low Assays on the Carat Gold; .380 to .390 on 10K and .480 to .525 on 14K gold, thus only actually paying 92% or less of the Value. When you call them on it, they get very defensive, and pretend to run additional spectrograph assays on your material, the only Accurate Assays are Fire Assays. If you want to be cheated or taken advantage of, go to this Refiner, if not try another one, would like to see others do Reviews of this business. For being in business as long as they have they should have a number of them, Dealers in other parts of the country are telling me similar stories, since the Scrap Volume has dropped 70% in the last year. Basis of this, their business plan no longer works.
