The Wellwood

Went to The Wellwood for lunch, what a pleasant surprise! They have a very large menu with plenty of options, from quick sandwiches to full entrees! We went with seafood entrees after starting with the crab dip.nEverything was excellent and very tasty!! The manager on duty (John) stopped at our table to make sure everything was good and then offered a tour of the dinning-room with all the presidential history. Wow, great place, great food and great service with plenty of history, we definitely will be going back for more great food!

We went for Valentines Day! Wow...it was amazing from walking in the door to walking out the door! Brandy our server never missed a beat.. timing was perfect. The four course meal was worth every dollar we spent. Every course for each of us in our party was delicious. We were greeted and taken to our table in a perfect manner. Our table was set in a little private area(or so it seemed) The violinist was an extra special touch.. everything was just so perfect! Visited the restrooms and they were very clean and stocked(2x). Our friends we were with have been there before .. this was our 1st visit and we will be back! We are still talking about The Wellwood❤ufe0f

My best friend and I came for the all you can eat crabs. The crabs were gigantic! They were very meaty and the sides were delicious! Our server was very attentive and made it her business to routinely check on us and ensure our comfortability! The only drawback was the 49 min wait time to be seated. But the food and service made the wait worthwhile!ud83dude0a

Can be expensive but it's worth it!!! Been dining here a few years. Love the fact that it's on the water plus has multiple atmospheres in one location to suite the mood and desires of the customer; elegant, casual, family, special occasion!! Highly recommended.

Love the Wellwood! Always excellent food & service. Today I had a delicious Bloody Mary, Argentinian Shrimp, oysters on the half shell & raspberry walnut salad with blue cheese. Fantastic! Andy our waiter was amazing. I highly recommend visiting for lunch or dinner! ud83dude0a
