The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille

I have lived in Great Britain and traveled to Australia and New Zealand. A lot of American restaurants offer a 'fish and chips' that is far off the mark. It is supposed to be very light golden color and crispy, NOT a thick, dark orange or brown coating. I have now ordered that menu item from this location numerous times, and except one time it was a little over-fried, they are pretty close to right. Much better than what I've gotten at Legal Seafood in DC! Tartar sauce and coleslaw are great too. I wish the 'chips' were bigger and thicker as they are supposed to be, but at least they are standard thick fries, and not thin little 'shoelace' ones, that I've seen some US restaurants try to pass off as the 'chips' part LOL.nTakeout staff are always friendly and fast!

The greene turtle, where do I begin? We were greeted by the friendliest of hostess and sat promptly. Our server Jack was attentive to say the least. Some would say captivating, not to mention his overall charm. The drinks were made fast and cold,perfect. I don’t recall what we ate because the dining experience was so stellar. I would leave ten stars if I could. Also if you ask they will get you potato chips as a side.

We are always seated and served quickly, and being local, we tend to dine every so often. The restaurant is clean and with the option now to bring little ones in. Service is always friendly and attentive. We had reserved a few tables for a rehearsal dinner and ther service was awesome. From the communication, the easiness of setting up the event to arriving and having to not worry about hosting ourselves. The food was exactly as ordered, and was served at the times requested. The group was never waiting on drinks or food. The salmon sandwich is fantastic, great flavor and great for a light lunch. The brussel sprout appetizers are roasted and served with an amazing sauce. Consistent with great food and service, that is why we keep coming back.

With ample employees, we had to wait on our server jack for everything..nBarely saw him in the front of the house..nnFood was cold, cheese on tots was cold,nFries soggy, and barely warm to the touch,nBurger was ok , but it's hard to screw up a mushroom swiss burger.nnLastly, plates were still left on table while we were cashing out.nnI would like to add to my review..the manager was extremely Quick to to fix the problem, she was apologising, and sent me to some turtle bucks to retry a new experience..nThank you

I question their ability to cook greatly. I got some chicken wings and they where sauced. But they where the driest things ever!
