Get all of your pricing up front and in writing and make sure both of you sign agreeing to everything. They did all of our work for years plus I sent them lots of work from others helping them earn a lot of money, but then they charged me 5 times more than the original estimate after they messed vehicle up more by putting liquid glass in it on their own while I was in Monroe picking up a set of heads. I don't believe it was their fault they just wasn't aware of all of the tedious steps you're supposed to do when using liquid glass, especially liquid glass that they bought at a pharmacy instead of a Part Store. If the steps aren't done properly it will continue to mess up your motor. For the money I spent getting the motor rebuilt twice I could of put a crate motor with a warranty in it and been done. The first time I got the truck back it ran excellent for 3 days before messing up, the second time I got it back it ran for 1100 miles before stopping completely again. Each time I requested to see the oil filter but they said it was already picked up for recycling. I spent around $6000 and still had a truck that didn't run that was worthless until putting more money into it. Because of the constant changes in the estimate making it over 5 times higher and the truck never running right again till I had additional work done and testing on the shards in the radiator to make sure they were liquid glass and that they had caused the issues I never paid the final $500-$600 of the ever changing estimate nor did I follow through with a lawyer because they are too good of people and had always performed great work in the past. I don't hold nothing against them, except the change in the estimate 6+ times, but they did help me out in my time of need by letting me borrow a vehicle while my sons were here for the Summer. Even with everything that went bad they are good people especially Ricky but Mr. Allan to. As I said we never had any problems until this issue. Go to them for all of your tires, small mechanical jobs, normal wear and tear on all types of vehicles. I was a faithful customer for over 10 years till this happened and they're just good people to go by and visit with just like I used to do 3-4 times a week. Everyone makes mistakes and you have to forgive just as Jesus did. Even Ricky said that he didn't know why the liquid glass was put in the truck but as I said even though I have a truck that still doesn't run I have forgiven them many years ago. I miss their friendship more than my truck and it's a shame that it's come to this. But they are the best place in town despite one mistake so give them an opportunity at all of your business.
