Our Lady of the Lake is a fantastic place! I am blessed to be one of the resident physicians that work there. As you can see, we have a lot of fun and have a blast caring for your children!

Our son had a three day stay and not one negative thing to mention about this place, the stay( meant to say staff but the stay as well :) ), and services. God bless each and every one of them there and may they continue on with the excellent work that they are doing.

Amazing service from start to finish. The check in nurses, nurse practitioners, technicians, and doctors were all so nice! It was quick and speedy and my daughter didn’t shed a tear while we were here. They made her feel so comfortable and they were patient with her and me. I would’ve given six stars if I could’ve.

On Halloween night I had to bring daughter in. The WHOLE staff was fabulous, the check in process was done promptly and efficiently, the technicians helped to entertain my kid while I handled the check-in. The assistants, techs, and nurses were great!!!nDr. Chris was very efficient, informative and attentive. They all made the whole experience as stress free as it could possibly be!

On November 12, 2020 my grandson who is a year old had a accident in our home town in Alexandria, La. He was then transported to the Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, La in CCU the morning of November 13, 2020 which is two and half hours away.nWhen I arrived to the hospital I was screened and cleared to go see him in CCU. I was told that the nurse would be notified that I was coming. Once I got to his room the RN assigned to him ignored me. As I was asking her questions before interning the room she would just stare at me.nI entered the room, my grandson and daughter in law was there. My daughter in law stated that they have had problems with this RN all day. Next thing I seen was the Charge nurse and security approaching the room. I did not quite understand why this was happening because there was no Confrontation going on.nThe charge nurse proceeded to state that because I was there then my son and daughter-in-law would have to leave for 24 hours.nThe RN pulled out her phone and was video tapping me while I was holding my grandson, which is a HIPPA violation.nI have been in the health care field for 30 years. I have never been treated so unprofessionally. I have never treated any patients or family members the way we were treated here.nNothing was explained clearly and my son and daughter-in-law had to ask several times about the results of the test that were preformed on my grandson.nMy son and daughter-in-law were exhausted and stressed beyond what you could ever imagine seeing their child hurt and no one explaining or having any compassion for what they where going threw. Our main concern was the condition and well being of my grandson.nI know if it was their child or family member that was there they would want to be treated with respect and compassion.
