My neighbor that I take care of was sent to the hospital due to her blood sugar levels being dangerously low. She was in a diabetic coma like state. She had wet herself, couldn't speak or anything like that. She is also on dialysis. I brought her machine and supplies thinking she was gonna get taking care of as well as her walker and phone. They kept calling for me to come and do her dialysis at the hospital. I was working. They should have found someone at the dialysis center to perform the treatment! And since they couldn't get a hold of me they sent her home in an ambulance after 3 days of being there.nnThey did not bathe this woman what so ever and they never gave her the walker I brought not the phone. It was still at the nurses station.nnDon't trust this hospital with your life!

I brought my son who was a 28 week preemie in. He had been diagnosed with Reactive Airway disease, and additionally was very sick. Our pediatrician was adamant if we even suspected he was having breathing issues to bring him to the hospital. We couldn’t get a pulse oxygen reading on him and felt like he was wheezing sonwe brought him in to the ER as our pediatrician had requested. We then sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before a nurse came out and performed a pulse ox reading on him the entire process took less than 30 seconds. He was actually breathing well and we decided not to be seen that we would handle it at home. We got a bill later for $202 dollars for him being triaged at the hospital. I thought this was a little ridiculous and contacted the hospital where I was told my only recourse would be to write a letter to a case manager which I did. I then received a letter that we had been billed correctly and to contact the billing department to pay my bill. I’m not looking for free medical care I understand that I should be charged something maybe $20-$40 for the nurses time, but $202 for 30 seconds is ridiculous and absolutely theft of my hard earned money. I will only use this hospital and it’s affiliates for emergency’s and any elected procedures will be handled by the competition. I am disappointed in NRMC’s 100% transparent money grab.

I was so disappointed. My son was in a terrible accident accident 08/18/2019. He was taken to the emergency room by ambulance. They were doing fine until they found he had no insurance. Didn't clean his many cuts from being dragged down highway. Had a laceration on his foot that wasn't attended. Your going to send him a bill anyway so why not do your job. If I get sick take me to Alexandria or Shreveport. Natchitoches is still the same.

Hugh shout out to ICU uni . Outstanding service and personnel. Could not ask to be treated any better or nicer than these folk . Our heartfelt thanks for the treatment to our Mothe . Yall saver her life.

Just got done with day surgery and all the nurses and the doctor was so nice. Clean environment. I also had to wait for Medicaid van to come get me and they keep checking on me and was very sweet. I would come back in a heartbeat.
