Central Louisiana State Hospital

I have called this facility four times and left messages with someone in admissions to return my call as I am in desperate need to get some form of treatment. My counselor referred me to this place and there is no way I would ever consider coming here because of the lack of being able to return a phone call to advise somone on their admissions process. I can't speak personally to the care they give, but if it's anything like their office staff then I am sure it's quite sad.

CSH helped me more than I can say. I went there twice over a 10 year span. I highly recommend them!!

I was there in 88-89 in Unit 8 which was the adolescent unit. Most of the staff were power hungry. The place was haunted. That 3 months was the worst three months of my life. Parents do not take your kids there unless it is a last resort. This place was terrible. I'm sure with the budget cuts and everything else going on now it is even worst than back then.

My granddaughter Priscilla Moreci is in the mental health hospital and they won't tell me anything about her or let me talk to her so I say don't bring your children here it is not safe. If you need help find a nother place to take them please. I don't want to see a nother child lost like my grand daughter Priscilla they don't know what they are doing because they don't know how to Communicate with each other at this place.

Its awesome definitely A must go when you go on holiday great service excellent food.
