First Volunteer Bank

I am happy with the service provided by the branch staff. They have been helpful and informative from the beginning! They have changed my perspective on how other banks have treated us. Kudos!!!

DRIVE THRU. I love the service of this bank, but the experience I had today at the drive thru is not okay. I will be doing my business at the one in Ringgold from now on. I sat in the drive thru for over 30 minutes, while they only serviced one person with 10 different transactions, holding up the line with people trying to get their errands done.

I have personally banked with First Volunteer for many years and added an account for my business last year.nnWe have always received great service and attention but it wasn't until recently through this pandemic that we truly understood the value of a strong banking relationship.nnMy business is in the hospitality/travel industry and I contract corporate meetings; which of course given the current circumstances has come to a halt.nnI contacted First Volunteer immediately to discuss small business options and Alma Estrada called me back the very same day, processed my paperwork and sent all necessary documentation/information to me to review. Unfortunately, the SBA/PPP loans were depleted the very next day but she continued to work on my file to have it ready if and when the SBA received additional funding. All along the way, she kept me up-to-date and always made me feel just as important as their clients with much larger account revenue than mine.nnThere are 1,400 other Associates just like me in the same line of work and I have heard very negative banking experiences from the larger banks. Many have still not received a call back and it has been weeks. My colleagues are beyond impressed by my personal experience with First Volunteer and their willingness to help during such an unprecedented time. Making each customer a priority is paramount and it shows through their service, attention to detail and follow-up.nnI cannot say enough great things about the service standard of First Volunteer Bank. My banker, Alma Estrada, even provided her cell phone # should I have any additional questions and stated she is also available in the evenings via email should anything arise.

Just make the drive to the Lafayette branch they’re so much nicer
