I would not recommend Garden Mart as a place to buy plants. I purchased a couple succulents and a young ficus tree to find out the the succulents were infested with mealybugs and the ficus tree had scaling bugs. As a newer house plant owner, I put a lot of trust in Garden Mart but was disappointed with the health and quality of their plants. I would’ve given Garden Mart one star but the staff is really friendly
This owner has TWICE accosted my 77 year old mother, forcing his political views on her and insulting her for hers. The first time, he approached her in the parking lot because he saw her bumper sticker and criticized her. The second time, he approached her in line, got close enough to touch her, and again insulted her for her political views. The cashier also criticized her. She felt intimidated and was upset for days. This is no way to treat customers, especially a loyal one like my mom. I would never set foot in this store.
