First time visiting JR. Crickets and I literally live down the street from one in Midtown. Was in the area of Briarcliff, so decided to come to visit. Well JR. Crickets is a cute place to visit. It's a franchise so I'm assuming the lady we met was the owner or manager. I got the wings and shrimp. Wing flavor 1/2 ranch, 1/2 lemony pepper (cute spin on lemon pepper). My shrimp were grilled and they also have me more shrimp than stated on the menu, which is PLUS!!!! Well, the food was amaze-balls! I didn't even finish it because it was so good and the portion size was well worth it. I also have a strawberry mango margarita, which is $5 on Mondays. GREAT DRINKS thanks to cashier. I will definitely be back! This place lives up to its reputation of being the original wing place of Atlanta.

I have tried this restaurant twice and each time the orders have not come out correct. the server writes and says it right and repeat it... but somehow the translation to the cook doesn't add up... we have sent our food back every time. they also don't have a variety for vegetarian or vegan options... but the drinks are good

Great atmosphere to enjoy great wings‼ufe0f Owner made sure everything went smooth while we enjoyed the games. Must try you’re in the area and worth the drive if you aren’t.

My husband and I have enjoyed going to JR Crickets for many years and the wings are absolutely the best in town. The restaurant is clean with excellent customer service as well. My son is a chef and he loves the wings especially the sweet bar-b-q ones!!

It’s been many many years since I’ve last eaten at a JR Crickets (Midtown Atlanta location). Saw it on GrubHub today and thought I’d give it a try again. I ordered the Cricket Burger and a side of fries. Took a while to get here, but order arrived complete and correct, and packaged well for delivery.nnThe burger patty was cooked to a good medium as requested, but was a tad on the dry side. The lettuce, tomato and onion helped pick it up some. Roll was toasted nicely so overall the burger was tasty but not outstanding.nnFries were a little under cooked for my preference (I prefer them a bit crispier) but weren’t “bad”. I ate them all, so I guess that says something.nnI’d be happy to give other menu items a try. All those years ago we pretty much only ate the wings.
