I've not been to Dublin (yet), but I feel like this is what it would be like. Consistently great classic pub fare. If you're waffling over what to get, just start with the fish and chips. Everything else is that good or better. Perfect pints of Guinness. And if you're in Decatur on St. Patrick's Day, there is *nowhere* else you'd rather be!

The peak of good casual dining. Nearly everything is fresh and made in-house, for an insanely reasonable price.nnTip: If you're a fan of strong sauces, try the pub pretzel. Their homemade pub mustard recipe will not disappoint!

Very nice outside patio area, which was expanded with a tent and picnic tables as a Covid Response. The staff is very friendly and helpful and turned on the space heater immediately upon request. Could not try the food this time around but will definitely update the review as soon as I get a chance. So far, I can definitely recommend it.

A real gem in our community. A place where locals gather but visitors are equally at home. Elevated food for a pub. Music and sporting events as well. Family owned and operated, the real deal!

I think the pandemic has taken the spark out of this place. The last couple of times we have eaten here, the fried food (fish and chips, especially) tastes bland and burnt.. as if it's fried in week old fryer oil. Having worked in restaurants and kitchens for about 5 years, I can tell an old batch of oil when I taste it.. anyhoo, we'll go back, but we'll stick with the stuff that isn't fried.nnThe Salmon Chowder was pretty on point though.
