Such nice people are always there. I should of gone in after I walked the trail behind it to write on the white board. Rattlesnake. About 5 feet long. Awesome! That's the 4th one I've seen over the years there and not the longest.

This place is a gem! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help with any questions. I find the displays inside interesting, and I always learn something new every time I visit. They also have a nice gift shop with excellent nature related books. The view from the deck is stunning.

Awesome park! Beautiful landscape, ocean, pine flatwoods, mangroves, hiking trails, beach, and a cool nature center. Rangers are super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Displays in the Nature Center about the nature and history are great for children AND adults. They usually have educational movies playing in a side room - we watched one today about gopher tortoises. We highly recommend it!
