Utah Catering by Magleby's

Thank you so much to Magleby's catering! They catered my daughter's wedding yesterday and it was perfect! From our tasting, to scheduling, to communicating, to the wedding luncheon, it was all handled professionally and personally. The food was delicious, we got so many compliments about the food all day. And a special thanks to Karen for being so helpful and to Ashley, who was our head server. We definitely recommend Maglebys for a yummy and reasonably price caterer.

Thank you Maglebys for the incredible food and service for our daughter's wedding. Our guests cannot stop talking about the incredible food we had and the wonderful service. The servers were so nice and helpful. They even helped us set up other parts of the wedding. After the wedding they packed up a beautiful bag for our daughter and her husband to take and have some food. They also left everything sparkling clean. We adore Maglebys and will use them over and over.

I'm a Senior Event Planner for a company located in Maryland, and hiring Magleby's to cater our corporate event in Salt Lake City was the best decision I ever made. Not being familiar with the area (or other catering businesses in the area), I only had Google/Wedding Wire reviews to go off of, and believe me the reviews are 100% accurate! The food is outstanding, the staff/servers are so professional (and some of the friendliest people I've ever met), and they were very willing to work within my budget. An event planner's dream come true! Amber was my main point of contact, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She was so easy to work with and designed menus based off of our attendees' dietary preferences. Since our event was in the middle of this pandemic, Amber did a great job making sure the food was sealed and handled properly, and even though we used brown, takeout styled boxes and plastic containers, it still looked very professional. All of our attendees loved the food, and I'm so disappointed I didn't get to try the chocolate cake!! I was too busy running around that I forgot to grab myself a piece, but from what I was told, Magleby's award winning chocolate cake is not be missed. Next time we have an event in Utah, I know who I'm calling for catering!

I have been so excited to write this review because I have never worked with a more amazing caterer- Magleby’s has the kindest and most wonderful/professional employees, excellent presentation and a fun atmosphere, and most importantly… DELICIOUS FOOD!!!!!! It does not taste like mass-produced, standard catering. On top of everything, their pricing is incredibly reasonable. We met Magleby’s at a bridal expo and tasted their famous chocolate cake (I was practically sold on the spot). We spoke with Gwen, who was so nice and informative and would eventually be the event captain on the day of our wedding. Gwen put us in touch with Mary, who is the wonderful consultant who works with brides. Mary arranged a tasting for us, so we drove from Salt Lake down to Springville and had our minds blown by a wide variety of amazing food- we knew we absolutely HAD to go with Magleby’s after tasting the food and meeting the staff! Mary walked us through different menu options and eventually helped us choose a dinner, a dessert buffet, and our wedding cake. Everyone at Magleby’s was helpful and responsive- we even met the owner when we went for our tasting and he was very nice. It is obviously a family establishment and the food is so good because it’s also a restaurant with talented chefs. The day of our wedding went perfectly- the staff set up everything beautifully and efficiently. They are known for presentation, and everything from our food stations to the soda bar were lovely. Gwen and the other staff were incredibly helpful and even brought water to me, my husband, and our parents throughout the night which was very appreciated! They also handled the clean up effectively and quickly. I have been to lots of weddings, and usually the food is nothing to write home about… but I had SO MANY people seek me out specifically to tell me how delicious the food is! Lots of guests at the wedding are people who take fine dining and food quality seriously, and they all loved the food. I still have people complimenting me on it weeks later! For all of these reasons, I HIGHLY recommend Magleby’s to anyone who needs a caterer for any occasion!!! They cater all over Utah (our wedding was in Salt Lake). Give them a call and taste their food- you won’t regret it. Thank you for making our wedding a roaring and delicious success, Magleby’s!
