I recently moved to the island and my cats are still adjusting to the change. I’ve lived off island and often just went to the big name pet store but have been to this store a few times. Those few times were pleasant which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. My recent trip however on 10/27 wasn’t pleasant. I walked in and it was busy so I didn’t expect to be greeted or anything. I made my way into the cat section and looked for things to help my cats with their stress. There was one employee that did ask if I needed help, which I appreciate but was able to locate what I was looking for. Once I got what I needed, I head up to the register. The girl that tried to assist was up there along with another girl. As soon as I walked up the other girl quickly put a closed sign on the register of the girl that tried to help. So I walked over to the register that was open and if my receipt is correct, her name was Chelsea. Chelsea did not acknowledge me and continue on with her conversation airing out her laundry to the whole store. She continued making conversation while ringing me up and the other girl didn’t add to the conversation while Chelsea rambled on but she did break for a moment to greet a couple that walked in the door. I paid for my items, which was the only time she talked to me was to give me the total. As soon as I stepped out of the way she had no problems greeting the couple that just walked in and asking if they found what they were looking for. Now the only difference between myself and the young couple? I was not of the same background. With the world being the way that it is today, I don’t want to make any accusations and it wouldn’t be something to take lightly either. I just can’t seem to understand why I was treated differently. With that being said, I will not be back.

I can't remember her name but she definitely have me great advice on my fish n shark buying n tank sizes and readily had advice off the top of her head about fish. It was around Christmas time and I told her about my children having a tank and having then learn about fish. Whoever she is thanks for the advice
