Great location with outdoor bar and live music on Thursdays, nice sunsets and overall a nice place to relax with a drink, lunch or dinner. The food was hit and miss. The snapper was cooked perfectly and had a nice blackened flavor, the loaded baked potato was $5 more and for that I expected more bacon and cheese. The Maryland blue crab cakes were flavorful and a good size. All of the dinners had very soggy, over cooked vegetables.nnThe blue cheese potato chips were really good although it’d be nice to see them served on a flat plate so the toppings could be evenly distributed rather than just on the top portion. The oysters tasted fresh and the seafood chowder had plenty of fish and mussels but was too salty. I’m not sure that I’d go back, maybe for lunch but don’t think I would for dinner.
a very nice place a very nice view but very bad service, and the food not very good I do not recommend it.
Had a great lunch here at CJ’s. Our party had a fish sandwich which was delicious and I had the coconut shrimp and calamari apps which were awesome. 2 at our table had the seafood salads. There was a lot of seafood in the salads but the dressing was a bit flat and uninteresting, but It was fresh and a very large serving.nnService was great and price was in-line with Marco island dining.nnWould dine here again.
In reading all of the reviews, I can honestly say I’ve never had a poor experience at CJ’s. The food has always been spot on, the service friendly and prompt, the view and atmosphere simply lovely. We have visited every summer for the past 6 years and now that we’re here full time, quite frequently!nJust stopping by for a beverage & quick bite? Try the blackened chicken nachos, our boys favorite!
Love CJs at the Esplanade!!! We visit every winter. Delicious food, eating outdoors and live music in the evening. The shops and ice cream store are also a treat. We especially love walking along the marina after dinner. Whether you arrive by boat or car be ready for a special evening.
