Outback Steakhouse

I took my 12-year-old twins out before Valentine's so they could have a nice steak dinner, what I approached the hostess table they said how many there was only three of us standing in front of them but I answered the ridiculous question with three I was then told to go to the parking lot and sit in my car they would text message me when my table is ready I said I don't get text alerts on my phone for some reason it hasn't been working well I don't know what to tell you then you'll just have to keep coming back inside anyway they gave me a table that was right behind the host of stand was unacceptable then they gave me another table and then of course you can read the rest, they sat me at a table with my 12-year-old twins immediately behind the cash register I asked him could I please set it another table or Booth I did not want to listen to all the conversation at the hostess desk and the phone ringing I wanted to enjoy my dinner, at this point they told me to go back to the parking lot and wait and I would be text again when another table became available so in total weighted almost an hour... the food took forever to come out we ordered three medium rare Porterhouse steaks and three lobster tails so you can guess how large my tab was, the waitress was to say the least was sultry and her attitude left much to be desired, the manager finally approached me when she noticed I wasn't eating my meat and ask why I said well I asked for medium rare and this is basically raw it was on the fire for about a minute on both sides from the look of it, I was just going to take it home and give it to my dogs, but for $178 plus a $25 tip the service was not up to speed and the food left much to be desired not a good evening for almost $200.....

Came to outback steakhouse for lunch. Ordered the wallaby darned and ultimate Rita cocktails. They were both pretty good. The bar area has for TVs, good for sitting and catching up while watching some games. The restaurant is pretty open space. There is a few outdoor seating options. The wings here are good. I usually ask for the spicy blooming sauce on the side. The service was good from the hostess, to the bartender to the waitress.

The food is good, but the service was not. It took 15 minutes to get drinks. We only got them because we asked someone who was not our waiter. It wasn't busy at 4:15 pm, but the service was bad. It was my husband's birthday and I called ahead and asked them to sing happy Birthday. I also asked the hostess when I got there. They forgot I guess? Everyone working there just looked miserable. By the end of the meal I just wanted to leave. I had hoped this new place was going to be good. I was extremely disappointed. Sad because we haven't gone out much in a year. Maybe take away is the way to go with this place.

This place has a lot to learn but with the great manager they have..they will do well. The food was onK. They forgot my side's. I ordered to go. It took awhile for the server to bring it to the car. But patience is a virtue. I will definitely return

I went yesterday with my wife to spend a quiet day and I wanted to try this Derfield Beach outback that my wife told me she wanted to go. We arrived and everything was going very well, they asked me my cell number (the manager) and she told us to go to the vehicle as soon as they would call us in about 20 minutes. We waited and 20 minutes passed and we saw other couples who arrived after us and entered before they called us which never happened. I went with my wife to the front desk and asked (The manager) what was happening that other people see us go first than us and she first raised her voice to me and told me that there were people first than us which is not true. With my client rights, I asked him not to raise his voice or yell at me in front of other people. It made me and my wife feel very bad and we are 66-year-old people and we deserve respect as every one. I work as a customer service manager in a prestigious company like yours and we do not allow our employees to treat anyone in this way. I demand as a client that this kind of discipline be corrected by the good will of the manager, your company and your clients. I just wanted to let you know my pleasant moment that I hoped to have with my wife after so many days of worry. But I want to make it clear that I do not return to this Outback nor do I recommend it to any of my friends over 60. Very unpleasant experience
