The quality of the dance routines and instruction here are below average. They charge way too much for the quality actually delivered. There are far better dance studios to choose from in the area. If you want your daughter with a stand-out studio, this studio should absolutely be avoided.
To make it even worse, one of the owners, Jake, is a total jerk. This guy is unreal. He is condescending, rude, and completely dishonest. Trust me, this guy is a complete fraud. I've spoken to many parents who have had multiple issues with him.
My kids have been going to S48 for 2 years, we pay 400.00 in March, right before the covid pandemic caused my kids not to continue, was never able to finish, never got the costumes, never got email about what is needing to continue, then in June they decide to take 244.00 out of my account, I emailed them to get a refund and not only did the owner deny it, he threatened me that he would even take the credit that he offered, and I never asked for. I would never recommend them to anyone.
My daughter has danced or tumbled for five years at Studio 48. They give a special award to the student when it is their 5th year. When we first started a family member signed our daughter up so she was under their account. Because of this it did not register that she had been there for five years. In the middle of the Tumbling Review at the end of the year, I brought it to there attention and they stopped everything that they were doing and figured it out. Then they were able to find the things that they needed to give my daughter her award at the end of the Review. To some people this might not be a big deal but to my daughter it meant the world. I was so impressed that on a busy night they didn't just turn me away and tell me that they would figure it out later. They did everything they could to solve the problem right then and there. Thank you so much for caring about my daughter.
On a side note my daughter absolutely loves her tumbling teacher and is so excited to be in her class again this year.
Im going there this summer im super excited my moms coworkers really recommend this place theres a lot of my moms coworkers daughters there and they love it my best friend has been there for a while! Im so excited to meet my instructors and teachers ps im gonna be signing up for cheer!! But one question do you do try outs when you sign up for cheer or do i learn cheer?
Awesome studio. My daughter danced there for 8 years and we could always count on Studio 48 for awesome teachers, great training and a positive and uplifting community environment. As a parent I appreciated how organized the office is and how well they communicated with the parents. We are moving and will greatly miss being part of Studio 48.
