Impossible to get any questions answered on a bill. Tried for months via phone to local numbers, email to program director and in person. 3rd party billing staff useless and never calls you back. Nice business model- charge you whatever they want and when you try to understand or ask questions on the bill- it is IMPOSSIBLE to get answers. Do not recommend.

I had an emergency room visit at ThedaCare Appleton in February. They all, 3 different bills at the same place, billed my personal insurance instead of the VA. I got the other 2 fixed because I received a bill from them. Here they did not have my address entered correctly so I never received a bill from them. They sent me to collections for the bill in September. I got a notice on my credit report 3 months later for a major delinquency payment. I contacted them and said it had to be a mistake. They also had my address wrong so I never received a bill from them either. Now for a week I’ve been trying to contact them about getting it billed correctly. It took me calling the third party billing and asking for the name of them company she works for and the address, the supervisors name, so they can get it taken care of with my attorney, before I received a call back. Now I have to wait for this billing to get straight, my credit to be repaired so I can go on with my financial and personal life. I will never use their services again!

Radiology Associates whacks patients with bills they did not authorize and forces them to pay, no recourse. Physicians don't tell their patients that radiology servises are completely separate from the actual medical tests, essentially doubling the cost. I asked at least 3 people, from tnhe nurse and doctor to the technician who did my ultrasound if the price would include everything. They said yes. Six months later I'm still fighting this bill. And they never answer the phone! They want you to leave a message with your phone number to call you back but they don't do that either. It sucks to be a self-pay patient. What other industry provides services without authorization and then refuses to tell you the price up front?!

Doesn't even deserve a 1 star!! There is no phone number to contact then just a number to pay a bill! HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!

If I could give less than one star I would! Like others, my issues were billing. This took me almost a year to clear up. It is IMPOSSIBLE to find a person to assist you. Whoever they use for billing, but advertise you need to be rude and short on the phone, Customer Service is lacking in every-way! NEVER EVER will I use Radiology Associates of Appleton again! Double billing, reversing charges, and no one to talk to -to assist you with questions.
