The folks at this branch are super helpful, but the 800# and customer service at completely horrible. Not only English as a second language they will transfer you to another line ('specialist') who seems to be connected to a wire and tin can (EVERY.TIME.) where they can just hang up on you so you have to go through the entire phone tree and wait time again. TCF has the worst phone customer service.
The worst bank on the planet. I swear no other bank has this many issues. Atms go down and lock up your car. App goes down all the time. Transactions are slower than any other bank i have used. Seriously i have been with wells fargo, td bank, pnc, chase, b and m, hell even bmo and none of them over the past 10 years have interrupted my access to my money the way this bank has.
Tried to go here twice to open an account with all the correct documents was told their system is having a problem
Everyone is always very friendly and helpful.
The employees here went above and beyond to keep my business. I've been there for many years and was going to close my account and consolidate my businesses in another bank. After talking with them not only did I keep my account there open, but I'm very glad I did looking over the years of there pleasant service why fix what's not broken.. thanks so much ladies! ud83dude09
