2 Weeks of issues of NOT DEPOSITING MY PAYCHECK. Their internal error. Cost me money. This bank sucks.
I very very rarely write reviews for any bad or good experiences but honestly I am very disappointed in my bank experience right now enough to reconsider where I am putting my money. I was “helped” by a very rude woman who was short with with me for absolutely no reason. She also managed to insult me when I misspelled my grandmothers maiden name. Let me be clear...I rarely have bad experiences with the staff at waterstone but as they say “one bad apple can spoil the bunch” and that is the case here so let’s hope this review doesn’t fall on deaf ears.
I've been a customer of WaterStone Bank via the Wauwatosa branch on State Street in the Village of Wauwatosa for a few years now and I've not once been disappointed by the level of service I have received. The staff is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. I also love that the customer service center is staffed by real people in the Milwaukee area. So when I call, I talk to a friendly person who lives nearby, rather than a machine or a person who lives halfway across the globe. Few things are more frustrating than sitting on hold for 30 minutes waiting for a customer service rep, hitting 0 over and over to talk to a real person. It's almost unbelievable in this day and age to call a company's customer service line and have it answered by a human being! Thank you WaterStone for keeping your customer service operations in our area. [Full disclosure, I am a WaterStone employee, but not at the Wauwatosa branch where I primarily bank.]
