The guy who runs this place has a lot of experience with exotic animals, and it shows. Store is well stocked with a good variety of must-have items for exotic pets (lighting, feeder insects, substrate, etc), animals housed and displayed in clean and proper enclosures and tanks. As a long time owner of exotic pets myself, I am looking forward to giving this place my business from now on. Also great because it's right here in the neighborhood!

My girlfriend and I moved to the MKE area about 8 months ago and searching for a decent small business to support that specializes in exotics has been really difficult. We were eagerly awaiting the opening of MKE Rainfrog and were not disappointed! Matt is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate to all his pets & guests.nnThe interior is fun, welcoming, and stocked with supplies that are perfect for any reptile/amphibian owner, plus his collection of bioactive materials is out of this world. We will absolutely be back and can't wait to become regulars after searching for so long.

I was in the market for a specific Uromastyx and happened to come in touch with Matthew, and MKE Rainfrog, a two hour drive from where I live. I was planning on driving down there, but Matthew actually offered to meet me halfway! Really impressed that he went above and beyond, on a day the store had to open on as well. You don’t get that quality often nowadays.nnAs for the animal, it was in wonderful condition. You can tell the animals are a priority, and this specimen was VERY well cared for during its tenure.nn15/10, would recommend, and I look forward to working with Mathew and MKE Rainfrog more in the future!

A hole in the wall store that specializes in some of the best vivarium/aquarium supplies you may need. The owner seems very knowledgeable and truly passionate about the hobby and animal care. It also is a one-of-a-kind place where you will find some of the most unique reptiles/amphibians. Definitely coming back again!

This is truly a hidden gem in Milwaukee. Even if you aren't a reptile enthusiast, this is a wonderful, fun, and quite frankly delightfully immersive place to visit. This is the ***closest*** thing you'll get to Disney's animal kingdom in the Milwaukee area outside of the Zoo. Incredibly knowledgeable staff, and absolutely AMAZING terrarium setups. I hope this business sticks around; They won me over from the second I walked in, and I hope to shop there for years to come.
