Ganderland Quality Labradors

A few years back ,I received a sick pup.She didn't do well from day one.I know he's been breeding dogs for over 30 yrs. I'm sure has had good experiences but for me ,was not ,$ 800.00 down the drain. Looking back ,it's just a nicer puppy mill. He even took me to his own vet to help out because she needed shots ,meds etcnWell guess what ,she died. So I would never recommend.nSometimes it's time to hang it up and find another hobby.

We bought our chocolate lab, Moose, from Ganderland 3 1/2 years ago. Best dog I've owned. Great house dog, good with other dogs, a good hunter, and handsome! My son recently took him bird hunting for the first time & he brought the duck to his feet! His 90 pounds can be intimidating to people, but he's a big lover that only barks when people or animals come to visit him. *Highly recommend!

We have gotten 3 puppies from Dan and Linda at Ganderland over the years. We got our first black lab from them in 1993. We have also used their “stud service” twice. I highly recommend Ganderland. All our dogs have been great hunters and amazing house pets.

I found this kennel three weeks ago and they said they had three black lab females and I my name would be at the top of the list. They said I could come out in three weeks and have my pic of the female. Dan called me yesterday and left a message saying he was not available this weekend to pick one out but he would be there on Monday. Today I phoned him and told him I’d like to come out and pick out my female. female. He said he’d be around all day. I told him I was just over 30 miles away and headed out. When I got there I saw several labs in concrete runs. I went to the door and old man answered and shook my hand. I told him that I was here to pick out the black lab female intern replied That there must be some sort of mistake because he had no black female pups available. Why he didn’t tell me this when I was 30 miles away from his house I don’t know. Why he didn’t tell me this three weeks ago I don’t know. I’m really sorry I wasted my time. I would not recommend this breeder to anyone. I have worked for several that there must be some sort of mistake because he had no black female pups available. I would not recommend this breeder to anyone. I have worked for several reputable veterinarians . I’ve trained several bird dogs. Never in my life have a driven 30 miles for a dog that wasn’t even there. I still don’t understand why he couldn’t tell me in the first place why was he trying to Luer me out there? Just weird.

We bought our Yellow Lab from Dan last June. Dutch just turned 1yr. Our dog is amazing and we get so many compliments on what a great looking dog he is, with his big blocky head. Dan is a great guy and couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you Dan and Linda .They really care about breeding great tempered, smart & beautiful Labs. The Ewing's
